Phone: (818) 591-0005 Larry Zuckerman is a Native son of the San Fernando Valley. He lives in Northridge with his wife of 19 years, Natividad and his daughter, Megan (15).
After four years in the US Navy, including combat time in Desert Storm, Larry voluntarily left the Navy to pursue his education and start work on a business degree.
He spent three years studying at LA Pierce College to get general education requirements fulfilled and learned Spanish in the process. He spent two years at CSUN working on a Bachelors degree that had to be put on hold in order to attend to supporting his family. Larry went back to school in 2000 at University of Phoenix, Woodland Hills campus while working full time during the day. After three years of studying he learned very well how to collaborate with others and think critically.
In 1998 Larry joined Dean Witter, which later became Morgan Stanley. He worked in Woodland Hills for over 5 years and managed over 10 million in assets. He worked with 401k plans, individual retirement plans, stocks, bonds, munis, life insurance, annuities, IPO’s, secondaries, derivatives and privately managed portfolios. In 2004 Larry signed on to be the President of Investments at Washington Mutual. He worked out of the Sherman Oaks Branch for over 2 ½ years, gaining even more useful experience and meeting some great people along the way.
In December of 2006, Larry was presented with an opportunity to become independent, allowing him to be more objective about investments and use all the experience to help clients achieve their goals. His Independent practice has grown and today he’s managing over 10 million in assets and is growing at a rapid rate, despite the recession and everything else that has affected the business.
“Working with my clients, and becoming an integral part of their success is a big responsibility. One that I cherish and look forward to every day." - Larry Zuckerman
